Sun And Moon, Past And Present

The calendar is a well known utility known to us all, it is used to know what date it is.

Today I will show on the exihibition 2 kinds of calendars. One is a well known calendar used today, called the Gregorian calendar, and another less known, which is not used today, called A year and a day. They both do the same thing let us know what date it is but the way they do it is completely different.

The first calendar is the Gregorian calendar, which is used almost in every country in the world. Its based on the world cycle around the sun, and is very similar to the Julian calendar that had the same consept. It divides the year into 12 months with 30\31 days every month, and in Febuary(the second month) there are 28\29 days. The number of days in Febuary changes, becuase once every few years there is an extra day to be added so the holidays wont change date.

The second calendar is the a year and a day calendar, based on a lunar cycle around the world. It has 13 months in one year, and in calculation it has 364 days in a year. To fix this there is an extra day added, and it becomes a year and a day. But a year has 365.25 days, and this calendar has only 365, this changed the date the holidays are selebrated every the year.

You must be wondering, why I picked the a year and a day calendar, and not the Hebrew calendar as the lunar calendar exhibition. But there is a reason for this, the A year and a day was the official calendar in england for more than a millennium, befor(sp) they adopted the julian calendar and afterwards the gregorian calendar.

The Academy

The Academy is an amazing place in the Forgotten Realms, where students come to sharpen their skills at fighting. Also they come to be better adventurers and earn more expirience for when they start traveling in the world.


The Academy is located in the very west of the main contient(sp.) in the Forgotten Realms, and is located inside the city Neverwinter where its never winter. Neverwinter is also located near the shore. The "manager" of the Academy is Mirian Goldenboot, and employes many teachers who are themselves adventurers that retired. One of the many things they teach in The Academy is the usage of magic.

I visited and lived for about 6 weeks in the academy, and I enjoyed it.
I learned a lot about how to use my magic more efficiently, alot of tactical manuvers in battle and how to detect and bypass traps of diffrent kinds. The academy is a great place to hangout, but still you are there to study, and my personal favorite is the druid garden, because its such a peaceful and beautiful place, filled with nature and life.

Well, thats my expirience of The Academy, an amazing place which you should really try to visit, and yet not everyone can join so I'm a lucky person. Also. I would like to meet this Mirian Guy no one knows besides the top people how he looks.

That Special Person

My special person will stay a secret until the end of this essay. Im connected to that person in every aspect of my life. he takes care of me, and listens to me when I have something to say.

This person is so special to me, becuase he is usually there for me, I can count on him. . he is the most importent person in the world to me.
This person is at normal height, has long hair with brown eyes. He really likes to read books and watch films, play with my sister and watch genral television.
He is a very funny person, quite smart, and sometimes get alittle mad, very responsible and takes care of my sister.

his history started when she was born, he was raised in russia in the little town of kamchatka.
he went to a public school, and liked to do alot of sports, and he was very good at it. he also hang out with friends alot. then he went to university and learned to be a math teacher but then when that person merried he moved to israel and started a new life as an acountist.

Well you have just read about my special person which is my mother the most amazing person in the world she is the most important person ever to me.

Just me, my self & i

My name is Alexander Yenin, but people call me Alex/Sasha/Shurik and I am 15 years old. I am quite short for my age, I have long hair and I usually wear simple shirts and regular pants.

My main hobbies are playing computer games and surf the internet, listen to music like rock and metal, go out with friends, and most improtent I really like to sleep !
Most of my spare time is used for computer games and also playing with my sister and go out to meet my friends.
Holidays are dedicated for the computer and friends, or if Im lucky I go somewhere interasting.
When Im with my friends, we usually just sit somewhere and start talking and telling jokes etc, or we go to "chevrolet" teenagers dancing club. Another activity i do with my friends is to play Dungeons & Dragons but its usually small groups of friends.

I guess I like meeting alot of friends in school that i dont meet after school, and there are a few teachers I really like and their lessons are very interasting.
I dont like the fact that there are still classmates I feel that dont fit the science class, and I really get upset sometimes, because they can really ruin an entire lesson, and there are some really boring teachers.
I really like English. Its the most amazing subject in the world, but else to that I like physics but i dont like the teacher, so its really annoying. I like math we have a good teacher too, history is really interasting and the teacher is really great so it adds.

Well u just read about the most unexiting life in your life and yet im not bored and still I hope this year not like past years, i will try my best and reach the grade i should recive but im a lazy person and i hope that the teachers will be good and i will enjoy learing.

Alex. this is not so bad, but you'll have to pay attention to gr. errors and run-on sentences. Learn to divide your thoughts into shorter and clearer sentences. Pay attention, also, to capitalization! I need to see real structure in your essay, a real division into 4 paragraphs, which I cannot see here. Finally, you need to work on your last paragraph, rephrase some of it and make it into a concluding paragraph.
